A lawyer, Mohammad Faizan Khan, has been arrested in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, for issuing a death threat to Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. Khan allegedly called the 59-year-old actor and demanded Rs. 50 lakh. The arrest followed his failure to comply with summons from the Mumbai Police.
Previously, Faizan claimed his phone, which was used to make the threatening call, had been stolen, and he had filed a police report on November 2. However, further investigation led to his arrest.
