In a recent interview with British Vogue, Priyanka was asked which Bollywood film she would recommend to non-Indian friends. She smiled and said:
“My husband recommends Dil Dhadakne Do, and most of my friends who haven’t seen Bollywood movies really enjoy it. So that’s a good one.”
Dil Dhadakne Do, released in 2015, is one of Priyanka’s most praised performances. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, it features Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Anil Kapoor, and Shefali Shah.
The film follows the Mehra family on a Mediterranean cruise, leading to self-discovery and family reconciliation. It earned Rs 145 crore worldwide on a Rs 58 crore budget, receiving both critical acclaim and commercial success.
Priyanka and Nick Jonas’ Family Life
Priyanka married Nick Jonas in December 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. Their wedding celebrated both Hindu and Christian traditions.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy in January 2022. Together, they have created a loving family filled with joy and warmth.
Career and Upcoming Projects
Priyanka was last seen in The Sky Is Pink (2019), where she portrayed a mother facing loss and resilience. She has focused on global projects since then.
She will soon return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29, starring Mahesh Babu. The film is expected to finish shooting in 2026 and release worldwide in 2027.
